An Overview of Trenchless Pipe Lining
We are proud to bring world-class Nu Flow technology to anyone wishing to have pipes restored with minimal fuss and mess and optimal quality and durability. Cured-in-place piping or CIPP lining is a pipe rehab process that uses high-strength epoxies along with a full suite of tools and products that include Nu Line, Nu Drain, and Nu Tube to cover gaps, seal cracks or holes, and restore normal pipe capacity and flow.
Technology That Businesses Can Rely On
What's also referred to as cast iron pipe lining because of the ability to restore older, cast-iron commercial pipes, our trenchless approach is a highly effective technology. All types of residential and commercial pipes of varying diameters and sizes can be repaired with pipe lining techniques – even larger commercial ones. What's more, pipes stored this way are even better than like-new. In fact, epoxy materials we use can give re-lined pipes a 50-plus year lifespan.
How CIPP Lining Works
We often recommend trenchless pipe lining if there are clear signs of pipe issues, such as frequent clogs, slow drains, or wet spots around your building or complex. Pipe lining services can also address significant damage caused by intrusive tree roots and age-related wear.
The first step we take with CIPP or epoxy pipe lining is to perform a comprehensive and detailed inspection. We do this through built-in access points or "cleanouts," which we also use to apply the new inside coating. For smaller pipes, we typically apply liquid epoxy to pipe walls with compressed air. For sewer lines and other larger pipes, cured-in-place pipe lining is what's often recommended to business or commercial property owners. The lining we use is strong enough to also cover small gaps in pipes.
A flexible tube is expanded in the pipe to allow for the application of a thick coat of epoxy resin material. After the resin has cured, the flexible tube is removed and you'll be left with a smooth, fully internally restored pipe.
